Northern Thunderbird Air has been flying in British Columbia for over 40 years.
In 1971, Northern Mountain Airlines, based in Fort St. James,and Thunderbird Airlines, based in Prince George, amalgamated and Northern Thunderbird Air was born.
Today, we are a specialty airline utilizing a fleet of modern turbine aircraft with 24-hour a day capability and remote mountain terrain expertise.
We are committed to providing safe and efficient air travel, regardless of your destination.
With our head office located in Prince George, and bases in Vancouver, and Smithers, we can provide service throughout BC and Yukon.
Our sister airlines are Central Mountain Air (CMA) and Hawkair. CMA provides charter services in Alberta and scheduled services throughout BC and Alberta. Hawkair provides scheduled services in BC and large aircraft (20 to 50 seats) charter services in BC and Alberta.
